SOLO TRACK
Solo Track is perfect for the camper who wishes to devote time to:
1 The.preparation of competition, audition, or extensive solo material

3. Concerto study (Piano or alternate instrument accompaniment can be provided at additional charge for those wishing to perform a concerto in the final program).

Students interested in the Solo Track should have their solo works and orchestral excerpts begun and well in progress by the time they arrive at CVHI. Each solo track participant is required to present a program of no more than 15 minutes in length on the final recital. The Solo Track program is a wonderful option for the beginner harpist who wants to learn more repertoire and improve their skills in a focused environment, all the way through to the advanced harpist who wishes to prepare college audition repertoire, receive quality instruction and practice time on a concerto, or expand their background, sacred or wedding repertoire. Rhythm, sight-reading, theory and technique classes will group them with their Ensemble Track counterparts, and themed Master Classes and workshops will include elements of fun, learning and the occasional surprise. Scheduled outdoor and cultural events throughout the week are sure to provide fun and friend-forming in the late afternoon and evenings.
